Parks - Recreational Trails

Brampton has recreational trail systems running north and south throughout its borders that connect many of Brampton's parks, playgrounds and recreational facilities:

  • Etobicoke Creek Recreational Trail:  a 14.5km expanse through most of Brampton from our northern border with Caledon to nearly the southern border with Mississauga, including the downtown area and arts hub
  • Chinguacousy Recreational Trail:  an 8km expanse that highlights the Donald M. Gordon Chinguacousy Park
  • Professor's Lake Recreational Trail:  an 11km expanse that features Professor's Lake and the surrounding area
  • Don Doan Recreational Trail: a linear park system starting from Victoria Park Arena on Avondale Boulevard stretching north approximately 11 kilometres (seven miles) and ending at Professor's Lake.
  • Esker Lake Recreational Trail: running from White Spruce Park to Balmoral Drive.
     

The City of Brampton will respond to any of the following reports on recreational trails:

  • Broken or damaged equipment
  • General damage
  • Vandalism
  • Lights not working
  • Picnic tables or benches missing
  • Snow or ice not cleared
  • Water ponding
